Every now and then, an opportunity comes along that compels us to really take a step back and appreciate how lucky we are to do what we do. This is one of those times.
Australand’s overwhelmingly successful Hamilton Reach project is not only one of Brisbane’s most successful residential developments but it’s a wonderful example of how the creative direction can evolve for each subsequent release whilst being sensitive to the development brand.
We’re immensely proud of the work we’ve done to date on the Green Quarter, the Keelson and Atria however the new release was set to raise the bar even higher.
A boutique collection of absolute riverfront apartments, it was to be among the finest residences to date at Hamilton Reach and we had to create a name, design and marketing strategy that reflected the sheer luxury of the homes within a saturated market.
The name Newport was selected to instantly position the development as a luxurious waterfront destination, paying homage to the coastal Californian town. SMART’s equally luxurious creative direction focussed on the building’s connection to the river and featured a strong architectural element that mirrored the curves of the building.
Neutral colours, subtle textures and a soft, poetic graphic tone were used to create a chic and sophisticated result.
We are proud to announce Newport was officially launched on Wednesday 21 May 2014 and has been very well received with over $10 million worth of sales within days of launching. You can visit the sales display at MacArthur Road, Hamilton. It’s pretty spectacular, if we do say so ourselves.
