Vince moved back to Australia following 15 years as Managing Director, McCann Hong Kong. During this time, Vince managed the dedicated integrated marketing agency for Cathay Pacific Airways across 27 markets.
Under Vince’s leadership, McCann Hong Kong was one of the most consistently awarded McCann offices in Asia, while being held up as a ‘best in class’ example of a truly integrated agency model for the McCann network.
Prior to Hong Kong, Vince worked at Ogilvy & Mather, New York, as Senior Partner, Kraft Foods Maxwell House and previously at D’Arcy, Masius, Benton & Bowles, New York as Senior Vice President, Director Business Development, responsible for the New York office’s business development program and managing a portfolio of Procter & Gamble brands for the US market.
Vince began his advertising career in Melbourne after graduating from RMIT University, initially working for Australia’s then largest agency, George Patterson and later in Sydney with Saatchi & Saatchi, during which time the agency was voted agency of the year 3 years running. Vince then joined McCann Sydney as part of its Australian management team before moving to New York.
Recognising the rapidly changing landscape currently facing the advertising industry with the convergence of content creation, curation and data, prior to joining SMART, Vince took on consulting roles with The Media Village, a Hong Kong based branded content company and London based ad tech and programmatic media agency Addition Plus as consultant Managing Director Asia.
Vince is passionate about storytelling and building brands. Vince now lives permanently in Melbourne with his wife and two sons.
